Once every four years South Africans everywhere don the green and gold to support the Springboks on their road towards – and we’re all really hoping here – winning the coveted Rugby World Cup.

Wherever you might be in our country, there’s probably a venue where you can show your support close to you that won’t cost you an arm and a leg. Here are a few suggestions:

Your local Baron, Dros, Brazen Head or Hooters

These restaurant chains are running a promotion for the duration of the World Cup in which you can win a Castle Lager Rugby Supporter Hamper whenever you buy a 500ml Castle Draught. The draw takes place at half-time of every game that the Boks play.

The Slug and Lettuce

When you visit a Slug and Lettuce restaurant in Johannesburg or Cape Town during the World Cup and buy a 500ml Castle Lager, you’ll receive a scratch card with which you might just win an instant prize.

Of course, your local pub is sure to put up the big screen and back the Boks, if you prefer to keep it local and lekker.
